We offer a free Bone Identification Service to UK Police Forces and can rapidly identify whether bones are human or non-human in origin and establish potential forensic significance.

This service is provided during our office hours which are 0900 – 1700 Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. During office hours we aim to respond to your request within 1 hour.

If you require an urgent Bone ID out-of-hours, please call us to advise that you require this service. This will ensure that your enquiry is dealt with promptly.

• Photographs need to be taken by a CSI and appropriately scaled, lit and on a neutral background
• This service is not designed to support long term search operations without prior arrangement
• Requests for non-urgent out-of-hours bone identifications will incur a charge.
